Kevin Lidgard entered the marina business 40 years ago, establishing and operating a successful boatyard at Hobsonville Marina. After selling the business, he continued to manage it until 2008.

Following a four-year tenure in Sydney as the General Manager of Polaris Marine and Construction, where he focused on waterfront and marina construction, Kevin returned to Auckland in 2012 to become the Manager of Westhaven Marina.

In 2018, Kevin assumed the role of Head of Marinas at Eke Panuku, where he leads development and business planning.

Kevin holds a Certified Marina Manager qualification from the Association of Marina Industries (AMI) and received the New Zealand Marina Operators Association’s Outstanding Individual Contribution Award in 2020.
