Based primarily at the Maritime Museum, in the centre of America’s Cup action, the 2020 Marina and Boatyard Conference will be yet another great event with a calendar packed full of informative sessions and social times.
New dates for conference
The 2020 Marinas and Boatyard Conference in Auckland has been rescheduled to 28-30 October.
The programme will include:
Wednesday 28 October: a range of topics and discussions at the Maritime Museum
Thursday 29 October: a tour of marinas and new developments in Auckland, followed by our annual Awards dinner
Friday 30 October: Further presentations at the. Maritime Museum
Changing bookings:
If flying by Air NZ please note that you can click inside the Air NZ App to request a credit of your current flights (with no penalty) and then select your new flights and then apply the credit. For those in the hotel, we are talking to them about rescheduling the existing bookings.
New half day option for operations and admin staff
For the first time we've introduced half day sessions for operations and admin staff. You are invited to send your staff to these sessions both taking place on the morning of Friday 30 October. Participants are invited to stay for lunch and participate in the afternoon sessions. As a stand alone option, these are $130+gst per person to attend.
Administration - a wide range of topics relating to marina and boatyard operations.
Operations and maintenance - all matters practical including piling, identifying power failure, refurbishment, safety, and a range of tools for dock masters and maintenance teams to apply in day to day operations in the marina.

Call for nominations
When the NZMOA AGM is held at our annual Conference, we will be calling for nominations for the Executive. Being an Executive member of NZMOA involves ten meetings a year (four in Auckland, the balance by Zoom) and is an opportunity to feed back into and influence this industry.
