Three Training Grant recipients named

With thanks to the support of our Marketing Partners, we are delighted to announce three new recipients of NZMOA Training Grants.

They are:

  • Brendan Demchy of Waiheke Marina receives $2,000 towards a Virtual Intermediate Marina Management Course with the Association of Marina Managers. He is Operations Manager at the marina, which he joined when it opened, and is also a Coastguard volunteer.

  • Louise Collier of Marlborough Sounds Marinas – receiving $2,000 towards and Intermediate Marina Management Course with the Marina Industries Association. Louise has been Customer Service Manager at Marlborough Marinas for four years.

  • Lisa Young, Office Manager at Waiheke Marina has received $2,000 towards an Intermediate Marina Management Course with the Marina Industries Association.

 NZMOA Training Grants are designed to enable those in the industry to further their learning and development in a broad range of fields.

Nearly $20,000 has now been distributed to applicants, with a further scholarship provided to boatyard operations graduate Avi Sharma at the recent MAST graduation ceremony.
