Capital city to host 2024 industry conference
Wellington will be the home city for the annual New Zealand Marinas and Boatyard Conference to be held from 11-13 September.
The venue is Parliament House, a landmark building at the centre of New Zealand’s government and the perfect fit for a conference that is about building connections and shaping an exciting future for the industry.
It promises a focus on emerging industry and economic data, opportunities and dynamic conversations with government on day one, with dedicated time allocated to operational aspects of marina and boatyard management, and innovation on day two.
The NZMOA Awards, including Marina of the Year, Boatyard of the Year, Best Initiative and Clean Marina flags, will be presented at a formal dinner. A tour – the first section within harbour limits aboard an electric ferry - will take in the Wellington region’s four key marinas and their hardstand facilities.
Registrations are expected to open by early July but the date is locked in and NZMOA says go ahead and book your tickets. Around 140 marina managers and staff are expected to attend from New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific.
